Interior Painting

The Painting Jobs Big Crews Won’t Take

Most painting companies want the whole house or nothing. That leaves a lot of real jobs unbooked a bathroom that needs doing, trim that’s chipped through two rooms, a wall that’s been waiting since the drywall was patched. We price interior painting services on the phone, book the date on the same call, and send one technician who finishes what was agreed.

What We Paint

Interior Painting Services for Every Surface in the Room

From a single accent wall to a bathroom taken back to a clean finish, these are the interior painting jobs Metro Vancouver homeowners book us for most.

Wall Painting

A few walls, a feature wall, or a small room start to finish. We prep the surface, cut in clean edges, and roll an even finish that doesn’t flash under the light.

Small Bathrooms & Kitchens

Small, awkward rooms with a lot of cutting in around tile, cabinets and fixtures. Exactly the kind of job that takes a painter a day and a homeowner a weekend.

Ceiling Painting

Ceiling painting covers yellowed, marked or water-stained ceilings. We work around lights and fixtures, and prime stains properly so they don’t bleed back through.

Trim Painting

Trim painting and casing through a couple of rooms. Clean lines where trim meets wall, a hard-wearing finish on casings and mouldings, and no brush marks.

Baseboard Painting

Baseboard painting brings back the part of the room that takes every scuff, vacuum knock and pet claw. Filled, sanded and finished to match the trim.

Door & Window Painting

Door painting on interior doors, frames and window casings multiple doors in one visit, finished smooth without the roller texture that makes a door look repainted rather than painted.

Accent Wall Painting

Accent wall painting done properly crisp transitions at corners and ceiling, with the colour tested against your room’s light before the whole wall goes on.

Wall Patching & Painting After Repairs

Wall patching before paint, not instead of it. We also finish the paint after drywall repair or rot repair, so the fix and the finish happen in the same visit rather than waiting on a second trade.

Winter Is When Interior Painting Actually Gets Done

Exterior work stops when the rain sets in. Inside is the opposite the house is closed up, rooms are being used more, and every mark on the wall is suddenly in front of you under the lights. It’s the right stretch of the year to get a room repainted, and it’s when our interior schedule has the most room in it.

It’s also when prep matters most. Almost every bad paint job is a prep problem, not a paint problem: filler that wasn’t sanded flat shows as a shadow under the roller, old glossy trim that wasn’t scuffed peels at the first knock, and a ceiling stain painted over without primer comes back within a month. We treat wall patching, sanding and priming as part of the job rather than an add-on.

How It Works

How Interior Painting Works With Microworks

We price the labour before we arrive, so you know what the work costs when you book it not after.

1

Tell Us What Needs Painting

Call and run through it: which room or surfaces, whether ceilings and trim are included, roughly what size, and whether you’re changing colour or refreshing the same one. Photos help.

2

We Match It To A Block

Your Service Advisor fits the work into a half-day Micro Mini or a full-day Micro Main and sets the date on the same call. Labour is fixed at that point. No site visit, no waiting on a written quote.

3

Prep, Protect, Paint

We mask and cover, handle the wall patching and sanding, then paint in order ceilings first, then walls, then trim, baseboards and doors.

4

Edges Checked, Space Returned

We pull tape, check the cut lines, touch up anything that needs it, and put the room back as we found it.

TESTIMONIALS

What Our Customers Say About Working with Us

Microworks knocked out a list of small repairs in one visit door that didn’t close, loose railing, and a few drywall patches. All the stuff we’d been ignoring for months. Super easy to deal with and very tidy.

Sarah L.

North Vancouver

We’d been putting off mounting the TV and installing blinds because we didn’t want to mess up the walls. They handled the TV, two bedroom blinds, and a grab bar in one appointment. Worth every dollar for the peace of mind.

Jason & Emily

West Vancouver

We had water damage on one wall and a couple of cracked tiles in the kitchen. Microworks repaired everything so cleanly that our painter asked who did the prep work. That says a lot.

Martin K.

Burnaby

I booked them for “just a bit of carpentry” some trim fixes and a loose step. The difference it made to how the house feels is huge. On time, respectful, and clear about what they could and couldn’t do.

Nadia S.

East Vancouver

I really liked that they didn’t try to turn my small requests into a big renovation. I got a straightforward estimate, they did exactly what we discussed, and everything was cleaned up before they left. I’ve already recommended them to two neighbours.

What Affects Interior Painting Cost

What Affects Interior Painting Cost

We don’t publish a square-foot rate, because the same bathroom can sit inside a half-day Block or fill a full day depending on what’s underneath. These are the things that move interior painting cost and what your Service Advisor will ask about on the call.

How much prep the surface needs. A wall with a few nail holes is quick. A wall with cracks, old anchors and previous patchwork needs wall patching and sanding before anything is painted.
Whether there’s repair work first. Painting after drywall repair or rot repair means the repair has to cure and be sanded flat before the finish goes on.
How much trim is in the room. Trim painting, baseboard painting and door painting are slow, detailed work. A room with deep mouldings and three doors takes far longer than a plain one.
Ceiling height and access. High ceilings, stairwells and vaulted spaces need more setup and more care.
Whether ceilings are included. Ceiling painting adds time, and stained ceilings need priming first.
Occupied or empty. An empty room is faster than one we’re working around.

Tell us the room and what’s in it, and we’ll tell you which Block it fits and what it costs on the call.

See What Fresh Paint and Stain Can Do

A small change in colour or finish can shift how a space feels. This is a good place to show before-and-after shots of real rooms and outdoor areas you’ve worked on, so visitors can see what careful home painting services look like in action.

FAQ

Questions About Interrior painting in Vancouver

Here are a few common questions homeowners ask before booking our Interrior painting jobs and touch ups.

CALL (604) 836-4178

Answered in under 10 seconds. No forms,  no chatbots.

What size painting jobs do you take on?

A small bathroom or kitchen, a few walls, trim and casing through a couple of rooms, doors and windows, accent walls, and painting after a repair. Essentially what one technician can complete with a full paint kit in a scheduled visit. We don’t take on whole-house repaints if that’s what you need, we’ll say so on the call.

Do you paint after drywall or rot repair?

Yes, and it’s one of the most common reasons people book us. The repair and the finish happen in the same visit rather than waiting on a second trade to come back.

Do you need to come out and quote first?

No. We price interior painting on the phone and book the date on the same call. Tell us the room or surfaces, what’s included and roughly what condition they’re in.

Is wall patching included, or extra?

Included. Filling, sanding and priming are part of the painting job a smooth finish depends on it.

Can you match an existing colour?

Yes, where there’s a colour code or a leftover tin. Without one we’ll advise on the closest match before anything goes on the wall.

Do you paint ceilings as well as walls?

Yes. Ceiling painting is often what makes the biggest difference, particularly where there’s yellowing or old water staining those get primed first so they don’t come back.

How do I find interior painters near me in North Vancouver or Burnaby?

We serve all eight Metro Vancouver areas including North Vancouver, Burnaby and Coquitlam. One call confirms whether your address is covered and what the work costs.

Can you paint in condos and strata buildings?

Yes, regularly. Low-VOC products where available, and we work within your building’s rules tell your Service Advisor about any strata requirements when you book.

Got a Room That’s Been Waiting for Paint?

A bathroom, a few walls, trim through a couple of rooms, or the paint that never happened after the repair. Prepped properly and finished in one visit, priced before we arrive.
