The Block model is Microworks’ approach to handyman booking: instead of scheduling multiple separate appointments for different tasks, homeowners book a fixed-capacity Block with one technician who works through their entire list in a single organized visit. Blocks are flat-rate, booked over the phone, and confirmed with a deposit, no site visit required.

What is a Micro Block?
A Block is a set amount of time with one fully equipped Microworks technician at one flat rate: a half-day Micro Mini or a full-day Micro Main. You pay for the Block and materials, never the hour.
How do I book a Block?
Call (604) 836-4178 and a Service Advisor will go through your list, match it to the right Block and lock in your date. A card on file with a 50% deposit secures your booking, and most calls take about five minutes.
Can I add tasks on the day of the Block?
Yes, if there's room left in your Block your technician will take them on. If not, they'll book a follow-up Block with you on the spot.
What trades does the Block cover?
Blocks cover repairs, carpentry, drywall, painting touch-ups, mounting, installs and general maintenance, anything one skilled technician can safely complete. Permitted trade work like electrical panels, plumbing rough-ins and gas is outside Block scope.
Is there a minimum Block size?
Our smallest Block is the half-day Micro Mini, which is sized for a short list of tasks and a better use of your visit than a one-job callout.
